The Dance Movement wholeheartedly invites you to dance, move and be moved!
One hour of dance and movement can help you get out of the busy mind and come into the body in order to release stress, feel fitter, giggle, have fun, and ultimately make a positive connection with your body and others.
Sarah Safi Harb, originally from Lebanon, founded The Dance Movement in 2010 and has since been offering Bellydance classes, workshops & private classes in The Netherlands & Online. Sarah integrates her Lebanese background, knowledge of Yoga and holistic dance practices in her classes.
Sarah's vision is that every person has their own way of movement and dancing, she encourages people to find their own style and express their uniqueness. As it doesn’t matter how you dance, but how you feel and what you express while dancing!

Sarah’s class is always an amazing journey in Middle East and Africa! Apart from learning about the history, the impact and the art of Oriental Dance you become part of the culture, the emotions of the Orient and the beauty of all those different countries. The reason behind this magnificent experience is of course Sarah, who is not only the most positive and understanding teacher, but also a super talented dancer who makes you feel that you can do anything regardless of how difficult your days are. I have never seen such an authentic person before! For me her classes are primarily a therapy and I highly recommend trying it to fully understand what words can’t describe. Thank you Sarah, I am so lucky to have you as my teacher!

Struggling with her mental health for the most part of her life she has used her love for Raqs Sharki as a tool to navigate through difficult times, and it is exactly those tools that have helped her through the hardest times that she now loves to share with you, hoping it can bring you relief, balance and even self love & pleasure!
