Owners: Rüben Spapens and Tom van Iersel Background: Master degree in Human Movement Science Their story: After years of teaching personal training clients and group classes we decided to start their own gym. Being nature kids, they love to train outdoors. The kettlebell, aka worlds only mobile gym, is a great piece of equipment which makes it possible to train strength and cardio wherever you want. And before they knew it, Kettlebell Outdoor Amsterdam was born in 2013. Since then, they have grown into a nice team of 7 trainers!

Questions and Answers

Why should I visit Kettlebell Outdoor Vondelpark?

They are the only place in Amsterdam bringing more than 400 kilo's of kettlebells into the parks. By doing so they can keep our clients challenged in order to make it possible to become stronger an more fit on the long run. Not a bodyweight only outdoors class!

What should I know of the first visit?

Bring a bottle of water in case you get thirsty and make sure your clothes can become a bit dirty. The teacher will ask you if there are new faces in class, please let us know so they can give you all the attention you deserve in order to help your technique!

Do I need to bring any sport equipment or is it possible to borrow it at the facility?

You do not have to bring anything! They bring the equipment and mats! Again bring a bottle of water and make sure to have appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.

What do I need to do if I have booked something but am not able to come?

If you cancel your class on time your credit will be put back in your account. If you can not join the class last minute please let us know by e-mail:
