Win and Swim
Über uns
Win and Swim is an adult swim school in Amsterdam. We coach adults through clear levels so you always know what you’re working on and why. Sessions are structured, feedback-heavy, and focused on real progress, not random laps.
How our lessons work
- 1 hour sessions
- Small groups (so you get actual coaching, not just “time in the pool”)
- Clear technique cues and progress tracking so you can see what’s improving
Choose your level:
- Beginner
For adults starting from scratch, or with very limited swimming experience.
What we focus on:
- Water comfort and confidence
- Floating and body position
- Breathing in the water
- Foundations of breaststroke, front crawl, and backstroke
You’ll build control first, then distance.
- Intermediate
For adults who can handle deep water but want to improve technique and endurance.
What we focus on:
- Cleaning up inefficient strokes (entry, rotation, posture)
- Building endurance beyond 25m without your form falling apart
- More consistent breathing timing
- Underwater skills like streamlined push-offs and turns
- Advanced
For adults who already feel confident and want to swim faster, longer, and with better technique.
Best fit if you:
- Can swim around 100m continuously and want better front crawl efficiency
- Want structured sets for endurance and pacing
- Want to fix specific issues like sinking legs, breathing problems, or a messy kick
- Train for triathlon or open water and want technique that carries over
- Fear of Water (Aquaphobia option)
If fear is the main blocker, start here. This option is designed to build safety, control, and confidence first, in a calm, structured way. It starts shallow and progresses at your pace.
What to bring
Swimsuit and towel. Goggles are strongly recommended. Equipment used in training is provided.
Not sure which level to pick?
Start with Beginner if you’re unsure. It’s easier to move up a level than to join too high and struggle.

We’re a small coaching team focused on adult swimmers. We keep things calm, clear, and technique-driven, with practical feedback you can use immediately.
What you can expect from our coaching
- clear explanations, no yelling, no vague “just kick more”
- simple cues that fix the biggest problems first (breathing, balance, body position)
- real feedback during the session, not after you’ve already swum 1,000m wrong
