Cursus: The Witch #2 - Successful Everyday Magic (on location!)

This course will take place in the rasalila studio in Amsterdam.

Due to COVID19 take your own mat to practice on. Make sure you have booked your course online and arrive on the location in time. Come to the studio fully dressed for the occasion. You can leave your belongings in our dressing rooms, but changing is not permitted.

Enchant & empower your life and everyone in it with this course in magic.

Gather in a magical community of people in ritual, as we go on shamanic journeys, discover breathing exercises and movement, practice glamour, build altars, discover ourselves and the universe we live in, cast glamour spells and craft sigils and talismans.

We end the course with a ritual where each person in turn will activate their magic power within them with the support of the group.

This workshop is for beginners and long term practitioners alike.

What you will need: - Notebook and pen or pencil and colors if you like. - Rhythmic instrument such as a rattle or drum. You can also use a jar filled with dry beans. - Items you want to place on the group altar. - Comfortable clothing to wear. There will be parts with movement. - A scarf in case you want to place something over your head during journeys.

Each class is 2.5 hours long. After every lesson you will receive lesson materials, suggestions for home practice, recorded meditations for further study and home practice.

Lesson 1 || The Self Lesson 2 || The Altar Lesson 3 || Place of Power Lesson 4 || Charisma & Glamour Lesson 5 || Charms, Sigils & Talismans

Lesson 1 The Self. Expanding upon basic grounding and centering, we will explore the self in all its parts as it relates to successful magic. In order to do magic successfully, it is important to know yourself and bring all your parts into alignment and to harmony. We will work with various energy systems in and around the body, aligning them in powerful breathing and meditation exercises. At the end of this lesson your will know how to access your intuition with clarity.

Lesson 2 The Altar. In this lesson we will explore various altars, as points of powers, as magical acts in and of themselves, the altars we carry in our bodies and on our bodies, and the altars we can build in our homes and our surroundings. Since the act of crafting an altar is the act of making something sacred to us humans, we will also explore the usefulness of making ourselves and our surroundings sacred. Everything around is always sacred, we only need to remember how to orient ourselves to it, to experience deep connection and empowerment in our lives.

Lesson 3 Place of Power. We all need to recharge sometimes. What if you had a place you could always go to, where you could choose to be alone when you need to or interact with guides and spirit allies, gods and goddesses? In this lesson you will journey to your place of power and discover how to interact with and care for it to get to know yourself on a deeper level and empower you in your day to day life. At your place of power your will also have the possibility to meet and interact with your guides. We don’t need to do or decide everything alone in life, and there are always those who can and want to help!

Lesson 4 Charisma & Glamour. Not everything is always as it seems and often we are much more than what we think we are. I’, sure you’ve had moments where you wish you felt more powerful or had an air of beauty and attraction surrounding you. Or maybe you wanted to disappear and for nobody to see you. In this lesson we will learn the art of bringing energy to us and shaping it into something that surrounds us and fills us.

Lesson 5 Charms, Sigils & Talismans. Now it is time to cast some spells. Learn the art of crafting sigils, making charms and enchanting talismans. With all the right tools at hand. We will end this course with a ritual in which you will activate and empower you in your magic as a group!
