A sensory series by Śuci Wellbeing developed and curated for Stargate. Hosted by Gioia and Jamal, founders of Śuci Wellbeing.

We believe that understanding essential oils changes the way you experience them. Through scent, conversation, and direct sensory exploration, each session invites you to discover a different plant, flower, herb, wood, or citrus ingredient while developing a deeper understanding of the world of aromatherapy.

As part of an ongoing educational series throughout the year, each gathering explores the origins, production, qualities, and traditional uses of botanical ingredients, offering new perspectives on the plants that continue to shape aromatherapy today.

Session 01: Lavender

For our first session, we begin with lavender, one of the most widely researched and recognised essential oils in the world. With more than 30 species and countless regional variations, lavender offers a fascinating introduction to the diversity found within aromatherapy.

Through guided smelling exercises, a comparison of different lavender varieties, and an introduction to essential oil production, sourcing, and quality, you will discover why this remarkable plant continues to hold such an important place within aromatherapy today.

Each participant will receive a complimentary sample to continue the experience at home.
