In this workshop I invite you to look within, to find new ways of expressing yourself, simply by using what's already there. You don't need formal training or years of experience to dance. If you arrive with openness and curiosity your body will find its voice. In a safe, playful and supportive space, I look forward to sharing, researching, playing and dancing together.

Over
Demi Bawon, born in the Netherlands with Surinamese-Javanese roots. Currently dancing for NDT1. Demi completed a dance education at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, giving her a background in both classical and contemporary dance. Dance for Demi is a way of expressing herself when words fail to. Through movement Demi makes sense of the World, its rhythms, its chaos, its silence and finds her place within all of it.
