The way we bond with our parents in the very first years of our lives, have a great impact on our ability to connect to others later on in life. The connection with our family members, and especially parental attachment, forms an extremely important base for how we feel and behave many years later. Many patterns that are not serving us, that we try to get rid of, but somehow always seem to come back, are related to our system of origin, the family within which we grew up.

Through systemic and family constellation work these hidden or unconscious dynamics and patterns can be brought to the surface. By bringing these underlying family bonds and forces into the light of our awareness, we can begin to see and understand these patterns. Over time we can change our inner attitude towards ourselves, family members and the issues we are facing. By doing so we can allow ourselves to break free from these destructive patterns, in order to live a happier and healthier life in true connection with ourselves and others.

In this workshop we will look at the system we grew up in and explore how this is influencing our lives today using guided meditations, family constellations and writing practices. Join Lidewij to learn more about family constellations, yourself and your place within your family and your relationships. Come with an open heart and an open mind.

What to expect : 

- Welcome, meditation and sharing

- Basic introduction to Family Constellations & Systemic Work

- Systemic Work exercise to connect with and explore your system

- Three full family constellations for those that come with a question and want to explore more (other participants will be representing parts of the system / issue)

About

Lidewij shares Ashtanga, Yin and Prenatal Yoga. She brings a softness to the practice, a focus on listening to yourself, your body and it’s needs. She greatly values yoga as a tool that helps her connect to presence, her true self, and what really matters. She finds magic in connecting to others from that sacred space of true awareness. When not on the mat, you might find her enjoying time in nature with her family.

Education

She’s been practicing since 2006, inspired mostly by her teacher Petri Raïsanen. After becoming a mother herself (and two beautiful home, water births) she got fascinated by pregnancies, births and the postpartum period. She took many trainings in prenatal yoga, postpartum support, and works as a doula as well.

You will get a full refund if you cancel up to 3 weeks prior to the start of the workshop. Within 3 weeks there will be no refund, but you can of course arrange to transfer your spot to someone else.
