Over de les

"Strength and flexibility are an outcome of energy and mental stability."

Robert starts off with a beautiful meditation focused on activating the learning centers in the brain. After that we practice pranayama to prepare for the physical postures.

The asanas in this class are a combination of Pralaya Yoga, such as cyclic twisting and hip opening and traditional standing poses from Ashtanga Yoga.

Specific attention is given to Triangle Pose. Robert gives specific details in how to align and activate certain muscles in order to get a release in the Quadratus Lumborum muscle. The QL is one of the prime sources of lower back pain.

Recorded: July 15th 2021

This class is part of Yogasite's 200H & 300H Teacher Training Programme. In order for this class to count toward certification, students are asked answer the following question:

"What is the location of the QL muscle? Where does it begin and end?"

You can send your answer to info@yogasite.nl
