Salsa Ladies Bootcamp (Amsterdam)

Vivienne Vicente will teach an all in 1 bootcamp Poetic Motion style!

The bootcamp will take place from 12 to 3 and exists of three intertwined parts. We start with the fundamentals, techniques that will not only benefit your salsa dancing but your overall dancing. We focus on using your full body in dance, awareness of your body posture, of the music, the people and the space around you and we will work on maintaining a peaceful and relaxed body and mind when you are dancing.

After that, you can apply the techniques in a footwork/shines part. We will finish practicing partnering techniques that you can develop and apply yourself. Even without a partner, you can rock the dancefloor! To end this awesome day there will be some space after the class for questions and feedback.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Vivienne Vicente started dancing Salsa and Argentine Tango at the age of 14. Amongst others, she danced in Brian & Mechtelds showteam, taught dance classes for different dance schools and she performed at home and abroad for almost 10 years together with Ronald. She likes to follow classes herself and in the past years, she specifically studied Afro Cuban dance and Rumba. Since a few years, she started dancing at Poetic Motion, where there is always something new to learn. Her mentors in dance are more than she can name, but these are some that have or had a direct influence on her: Brian & Mechteld, Ronald Pieters, Osmar Perrones (Yamulee), Karel Flores, Fabrizio & Beamiris, Mitchell Provence, Johnny & Gina.
