"DEEP" Chapter 1: Deep Tech Vinyasa

The DEEP project aims at opening a portal to the surface of the yoga practice in order to explore its complexity and enhance connections previously gone unnoticed, all guided by the tunes of a live DJ set. In this first event, students will explore the freedom given by 2 hours of Creative Vinyasa Flow and a 30 minutes Nidra experience to deep into their strength, flexibility, and inner connectivity. The flow is based on a ladder sequence which improves a sense of focus and creates the ability to understand the transitions and tailor them around your own level and experience, with plenty of modification to ease or eventually spice up your flow. In the last part of the workshop, the student will be guided into a deep relaxation to embrace the benefit of the physical practice and explore/experience a deep sense of calmness and awakening of the Self All event will be tuned around a DJ set specifically created by Inez Akker to empower the practice and enhance your sense of freedom and relaxation The practice is accessible for all levels

To define something “deep” should not imply that it is beyond anyone’s reach, per se, just that….it compresses more new information into the same space compared to what is typically encoded. With the “DEEP” project we are aiming to create a portal to access the surface of practice to explore and unfold its complexity and enhance connections that had previously gone unnoticed. Our gatherings are inspired by classical ritualistic experiences where movements and music come together to create a sense of bliss and enhance connection with our deeper self and share the experience with the community that surrounds us while exploring Yin and Yang expressions of practice to create an immersion into our physical and emotional body, teaching to body and mind how to manage the “everyday life” complexity and embrace our own beauty.
