Amsterdam School of Burlesque Presents: A brand new indepth burlesque course for all genders!What is Burlesque? A theatrical dancestyle, also called The Art of Tease. It is about showing of your beauty and sensuality (in any shape, style or form) revealing it by peeling of layers. It's about mocking the zeitgeist, playing with the erotic, sexually suggestive moves using the body and facial expressions in a seductive and or funny way...

In this unique course we will explore the following: - Background and different styles - Comedy and facial expressions - Classic burlesque dance moves and choreo - Striptease
- Character play
- Creativity and costume
- First steps for act development

Flora Gattina is teaching burlesque for over a decade now and the possibilities are endless. Flora is looking forward to prepare a short group performance with you for the theatre show at Boom Chicago, April 9th 2023, this is optional and will be discussed during the course.
