Hatha yoga consists of asanas (physical exercises) and pranayama (extension of the breath). The class starts with a breathing exercise, thereafter we will warm up the body, then poses focused on strength, flexibility and balance will be offered. The classes will always close with a relaxation exercise. The classes are suitable for both beginners as more advanced yogis and yoginis as clear instructions are provided and the pace is moderate.
When Maithe stumbled upon a Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India, she fell in love with the yogic and Ayurvedic way of life. Little by little she started implementing more and more of these aspects into her routine and she couldn’t help but being drawn back. Today, about six years later, she has finished 500 hours of Hatha and Ashtanga yoga training and loves to help guide others through their own, individual paths towards becoming their best selves.
