This increasingly popular exercise regime incorporates the precision of Pilates with the positions, moves, grace and technique of ballet. Add to this the alignment of yoga and the strength from sports conditioning and you will have the aspects of a typical Barre workout all done to music! The low impact on the Barre, lifts the butt, tones the thighs, flattens the abs and sculpts the arms, whilst protecting the joints. Small isometric contractions are performed and integrated with an interval training approach that burns fat and improves cardiovascular fitness.Posture, flexibility, stamina and core strength improve. The result is a body that is realigned and rebalanced that works harmoniously and efficiently.

This workout does not require you to be a dancer. It is suitable for everybody young and old.

Online stream

There is an online stream available for this activity. To participate, take the following steps:

  • This studio uses Zoom as their streaming provider to online stream their activities. Download the according software or app to your laptop, tablet or smartphone.
  • The access to the online stream is available 15 minutes before the start of the activity. You can find the link for the online stream in your online profile under “My bookings / Activities”. With a click on “Go to online stream now” you will be forwarded to the corresponding page and you join the activity online!
  • All participants are able to see the video transmission of other participants. If you do not want to show yourself or the personal environment in which you take part in the online class, you can deactivate the camera function or cover the camera. The name you enter when you join the online meeting room will be shown to other participants. However, you can change your name at any time (e.g. only specify the initials).


Noelle Mos
A former student of our studio, Ozlem completed the Polestar Pilates Mat course in 2014 and Comprehensive Studio in 2015.What she enjoys most about Pilates is becoming aware of her body, building up balance & control while moving and being surprised all the time about what our bodies can achieve. Her aim is to help people to increase their body awareness, to establish intelligent & efficient movement with flow, and maybe even help them to surprise themselves.
