HEALING HOUR | Yin Yoga + Sound Meditation

In sound meditation, we use Tibetan bowls, Crystal bowls and other instruments to focus the mind on the sound and the body experience that music creates. The Tibetan bowls are connected to the ancient practices of chakra balancing. The strong sound vibrations created by the bowls travels through your layers of body tissue (fascia), inviting stagnant energy to be released. You enter a deep state of meditation that will bring you into a place of ease and surrender.A long the class we are going to hold Yin poses for longer periods of times in order to stimulate the deep tissue to release , creating greater relaxations and harmonisation of body and mind.

During this class we are also going to work in silence. Silence has a major impact as well, since, in silence, we increase the neuroplasticity of the mind (the connection between neurons). Therefore, silence offers a fertile state where we can nurture ourselves with new possibilities for inner growth, leading to a more happy, balanced, and healthy life.

Other information: It’s recommended to wear confortable cloth, if possible no zippers or jewelry.
