Rise and Shine with Emilia

Emilia van Wijngaarden Yoga has been in her life for over 10 years. Although she has been practicing various sports from the early times, yoga is the one bringing the most peace and comfort from them all, and also giving the most energy to focus on other aspects in life. Following the call, 2 years ago she decided to dive deeper into this topic, and took a 200hr teacher course in Guatemala, learning the Diamond Heart Yoga teaching path. Since then she wants to help others discover the immense benefits of these physical and spiritual practices. With the practice she aims to bring that comfort of movement and simply being, the satisfaction coming from a balanced practice and the challenge of moving the boundaries our body and mind give us. She teaches a blend between a Traditional Hatha asanas, Ashtanga practice and deeply relaxing yin poses, all to teach you body awareness and make you learn the ways to communicate with it anew. She loves life and all that comes with it, accepting it as it is and aiming to bring as much internal positivity as can be gathered around. Outside the mat she studies Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbalism, and shows her love through culinary pursuits.
