Budokon Yoga Foundations - Livestream

During this class we'll work on the foundation and fundamentals of Budokon Yoga. Learn and/or finetune the choreography and transitions. This class is suitable for those that are new to Budokon Yoga and for experienced practitioners.

Foundations doesn’t mean “easy”, we work on detail and we go slow to create a solid foundation for your Budokon Yoga practice or to deepen whatever (Budokon) Yoga experience you might have.

Budokon (BDK) style yoga is a modern yoga style which unites the ancient tradition of self inquiry with modern mixed movement. It's a physically demanding style that combines yoga for flexibility and mental focus, calisthenics for strength and animal locomotion for mobility.

The foundation of this style is the Budokon Yoga Primary Series. This series consists of 7 sections of slow and controlled movements designed to improve mobility, agility, flexibility and strength. We'll use yoga postures and some animal locomotion forms. The emphasis is on the transitions from posture to posture, rather than the holding of postures. 

Some yoga or movement background is recommended.
