Bungee Dance/ Fit

Hi, I’m Helen! I am a professional contemporary and aerial dancer. I studied contemporary dance at Codarts and I have a degree in dance and choreography from the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK). For the past 10 years, I’ve worked for different dance (Meg Stuart "Damaged Goods", "Clan Carnal", "T.H.E. Company") and aerial companies ("Wired Project", "Stories to Tales") in Europe and South East Asia. Teaching Bungee is my passion. Four years ago I also became a Master Trainer in Bungee Workout. I work with students of all levels across the world. I have taught bungee to beginners and professionals in Bangkok, Moscow and Los Angeles and now you are welcome to join regular BUNGEE DANCE/FIT classes with me in Amsterdam at Chasse Dance Studios. Bungee Dance/Fit connects dance, aerial gymnastics and circus in a high-intensity cardio and core-strengthening workout. It is also a form of low-impact resistance training, which is easy on the joints and spine. Bungee technique gives your body the sensation of FLYING as you spring into the air supported by the bungee! Bungee Dance/Fit classes are stimulating workouts that develop coordination, endurance, strong muscles and a leaner physique. In my group lessons, you will receive plenty of individual attention and focus. After learning bungee technique, the majority of each lesson is devoted to putting that technique into practice. My teaching style focuses on skills training, but also emphasizes self-exploration and discovery. My goal is to help you grow and develop while you experience the joy of bungee.
