Yin Yang Yoga

A balanced practice of both Yin and Yang. These opposite but interdependent forces exist in balance within your body and beyond. In this class we explore passive practice of yin along with active yang postures to enhance awareness of the balance between them.

Class starts with a brief mediation to prepare and ground the body and breath. This is followed by yin practice, where you can expect longer and deeper holds of relaxing postures intended to release deep tissues of the body. In the second half of class, we move into a more active practice of shorter holds and active movement between poses.
