Hot Vinyasa Flow

I recently moved to Amsterdam from Sri Lanka, where I had been teaching yoga, pranayama and meditation classes at an Ayurveda treatment center. But my personal practice started long ago, when I was just a teenager, transitioning from gymnastics – an environment that was getting too competitive and distressing for me at that time. So when I discovered this beautiful new world of yoga, I immediately knew it was meant for me.As time passed by, I had the chance to integrate my experience and knowledge of yoga into my college studies and following practice of psychology, and vice versa. But the way I see (and live) yoga today has also been very much shaped by two truly transformational months spent in India, where I also did my teacher training. Throughout the past five years of teaching experience and traveling the world, I have come across many different approaches, which shows in my teaching style that is more of a blend of everything rather than a strict routine. However, most of my inspiration comes from vinyasa, aiming to stay mindful of every breath and every movement, becoming one with the flow.
